Asiwaju Fatokun Pledges to Facilitate Building materials Production Firm in Esa Oke

The Asiwaju of Esa Oke Kingdom, Chief Dosu Fatokun has pledged to do all in his power to ensure that the building materials production industry meant to serve the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda on Housing Development in Osun State is sited in our community, Esa Oke.
According to the newly inaugurated Chairman of the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON), a relevant recommendation of one of the four (4) Reform Task Teams to drive the successful implementation of the initiative is establishing building materials production industry in each state of the federation.
Asiwaju Fatokun, a former member of the Federal House of Representatives, however, seized the advantage of the revival of the Esa Oke Today magazine with its online version,www.esaoketodayonline.com to once again expressed his appreciation to our compatriots who in their hundreds sent text massages, made several phone calls and even made personal visits, to felicitated with him on the national appointment and wished him a very successful tenure of office.


“To strengthen our pursuit of this noble goal, we should come up with a number of raw materials that can be sourced from our local environment here in Esa Oke for modern building component manufacture”, Chief Fatokun challenged his people.
Asiwaju enjoined the members of the executive of the Esa-Oke Central Union (ECU) as well as “other well-placed built–environment professionals to work on this salutary assignment and revert to him soonest”.

www.esaoketodayonline.com recalled that Chief Fatokun, Asiwaju of Esa-Oke, was appointed the Chairman of Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON) in March this year.
The 22 member Board was officially inaugurated recently, precisely August 27, 2024 by the Hon. Minister Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa of Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development (FMHUD). The Minister has oversight function on the built environment professions in the country including Estate Surveying and Valuation.
Before giving the relevant highlight of the inauguration, the Hon. Minister disclosed at the inauguration that the execution of Renewed Hope Agenda on Housing Development of President Tinubu would be his priority.
Among other things the renewed hope initiative aims to deliver 1000 housing units in each of the 36 states and 4000 units in the Federal Capital Territory. A relevant recommendation of one of the four (4) Reform Task Teams to drive the successful implementation of the initiative is establishing building materials production industry in each state of the federation. Asiwaju proposes to lobby for the siting of the one for Osun State in Esa-Oke.
