Otunba Adaramola Condoles Orangun for Olori’s Death

At the palace of Orangun of Ila Orangun during the condolence visit on the demise of Olori Funmilayo Abosede Oyedotun by the representative of Otunba Akin Adaramola, the Apesin of Ila-orangun.

Esa-Oke Chieftain, Otunba Israel Akin-Adaramola, who is also the Apesin of Ila Orangun Kingdom has sent a high-powered delegation to the Paramount ruler of Ila Orangun kingdom, HRM Oba Wahab Kayode Adedeji Oyedotun, Bibire 1, to commiserate with him on the passing of his Olori, Funmilayo Abosede.
It is recalled by www.esaoketodayonline.com that Olori Funmilayo Abosede passed on Thursday, September 11, 2025 after a brief illness.
The delegation consisted mainly of the Obirin Ile Ewesorun chieftaincy family, of the Omo Ila Orangun Descendants, Esa Oke, and was led by the Yeye Apesin Akin Israel Daramola, and Prince Rotimi Adelugba.
Also in the delegation were Mrs Bola Daramola, the Compound Secretary and Mrs Olayemi, Igbakeji Iyalode.
Also, it is recalled that the Omo Ila Descendants in Esa Oke were mainly from the royal lineage in Ila Orangun kingdom, and they still maintain close affinity with their ancestral lineage.
Otunba Akin-Adaramola in his letter of condolence to the royal father of all the Igbominas, said “I join all the good people of Ila Orangun kingdom in mourning the loss of a remarkable Olori, who was a steadfast figure and a pillar of support in the kingdom, and whose life as an Olori embodied a profound sense of duty, service and commitment to the kingdom of Ila which it has pleased the Almighty Allah to put under your Royal care”. He continued in a somber tone that “Baba, you should be consoled as we are, by her impactful life of selfless services and generosity, which constitute inspiration to countless individuals and groups in Ila Orangun kingdom”.

He added that “members of my family and myself, will always remember her as a symbol of grace and unwavering dedication, whose absence willbe deeply felt, but cherished as well”.
