ECU Gives Comprehensive Performance Report

The Executive Council of the Esa-Oke Central Union (ECU) has presented a comprehensive report of the Union’s activities
since its inception in May 2024, up to the end of December 2025.
It was a comprehensive, financial and administrative “State of Affairs” report that fully covered the activities from May 2024,
including the 2025 Esa Oke Day celebrations.
The presentation was a full breakdown of all the donor lists, incomes, and expenditures.

It took place in the presence of the Owa Omiran of Esa Oke and his Council of Chiefs. It was held at the Owa Omirans Palace on Saturday 10 January 2025.

At the meeting ECU Chairman Otunba Yinusa Bamigboye, on behalf of the Union extended profound
gratitude to HRM, Oba Adeyemi Akanbi Adediran, Owa Omiran of Esa Oke, the Cabinet
Chiefs, the Esa-Oke Council of Elders, and all sons and daughters of Esa Oke, both at home and
abroad.
He said: “your unwavering support and commitment throughout the challenging
events of 2025 have been instrumental in the Union’s efforts towards community recovery,
heritage reclamation and reconsolidation, and development. We are deeply inspired and
pray for continued strength and unity in our collective progress”.
The meeting, presided over by the Owa Omiran, was well-attended by members of the royal cabinet, Council of Elders members, and community representatives.

Full details of donors, and their contributions to the Esa-Oke Development Fund were presented, including data on support to education, schools and bursaries in the town.

ECU Chairman Otunba Bamigboye said it was done “to underscore transparency and accountability” of the Union’s activities.

The ECU at the meeting reaffirmed its dedication to the progress, unity, and sustainable development of Esa Oke.

Otunba Bamigboye said: “We continue to solicit the co-operation and support of every indigene as we build a brighter future together”.
