The Chairman of Esa Oke Central Union, Otunba Yinusa Bamigboye has alerted the Panel of Inquiry looking into the causes of violent clashes in Ido Ajegunle that the thugs from Ilesa were still inside the bush within the settlement harassing Esa Oke people and stopping them from accessing their farmlands.
He called on the Panel, particularly the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, who is a member, to warn the Ido settlers against such harassment so as not to jeopardize the fragile peace within the settlement.
According to Bamgboye, there are several reports of harassments and molestations of Esa Oke farmers in their farms by these hooligans, warning that such alleged incessant attacks could snowball into another round of chaos.
Also addressing the gathering after the visit, Chairman of the panel, Hon. Ropo Oyewole appealed to all parties to approach their grievances with decorum and civility saying that, however fierce any war is, it would be settled through round table discussion.
He promised to be fair to all parties.
