Sheikh Ahemd Bamgboye, Cheif Iman of Esa Oke
The Chief Imam of Esa Oke kingdom, Sheikh Ahmed Bamgboye will lead Muslim
community in Esa Oke and its satellite village, Kajola, to join other faithful in Iree, Osun State
Monday, 28 July, for the fidau prayers for Alhaji Usman Oyedele, the late Chief Imam of
Kajola Satellite Town, Esa Oke.
Alhaji Oyedele died on Friday July 24. His family said he was one hundred and twenty-seven (127) years old when he died..
The late Islamic cleric had arrived in Kajola settlement, Esa Oke in 1939 and he lived all his
life in the settlement until about five years ago when he relocated back to Iree, due to old
age and health reasons.
According to Sheikh Ahmed Bamgboye, the Chief Imam of Esa Oke kingdom, the late Cleric
was buried according to Islamic rites and injunction last Saturday, while the Janaza prayer would be held
on Monday.
