With graceful, confident steps, calm looks, effervescent smiles, erstwhile Prince Adeyemi Akanni Omojadegbe, on Monday July 28, 2025, steadily walked before the paramount ruler of Esa Oke land, the Owamiran, HRM Oba Adeyemi Akanbi Adediran, Atipa Owaji 11, in the presence of a huge congregation of the Omo Omiran from all the four Ruling Houses, who installed him as Bajimo – the official head of all the royal princes and princesses.
Omojadegbe, resplendent in a flowing lemon green agbada, made from aso oke, wore a distinct look. His cool demeanour, carriage and intermittent smiles, perfectly told the story of the day in full.
The new Bajimo expressed his “inestimable appreciation to all sons and daughters of Esa Oke, particularly, the Omo Omirans, for the total support given to me for a long time. up to, and including my installation on Monday July 28”.
He added “I was totally overwhelmed with joy seeing the type and the calibre of people thronging the venue of the installation, all for my sake. You are all wonderful”,
He urged the “people to allow peace to reign in Esa Oke”.
www.esaoketodayonline.com recalls that the Beleyeke Ruling House of Esa-Oke mid-June nominated the Abuja-based civil engineering contractor, Prince Adeyemi Omojadegbe as the next
Bajimo of Esa-Oke Kingdom. Bajimo is the head of all princes and princesses of Esa-Oke kingdom.
Prince Omojadegbe was formally presented to the conference of the Omo Omirans on Monday June 23, 2025.
The new Bajimo succeeds Chief Adetomiwa Adetunji from Afinbiokin Ruling House who died about
a year ago.
