
The Saturday 5th September brought out the best of regality and grace in Solomon Olaniran Olamiju, Baale of Soluyi, Gbagada, Lagos State. It was the day the new Papa stepped out in style, fully complimented by his robust and delectable Olori to celebrate his seventieth birthday.

The couple, Baale Solomon Olaniran and his Olori, Olajumoke, were fully dressed in almond green traditional aso oke, with full compliments of accessories, were truly in a joyous mood. They sang, they danced, they moved round acknowledging well-wishers and friends.

Behold a new septuagenarian has landed in town, as the new Papa was unveiled before a huge crowd of applauding and rejoicing family members, chiefs, neighbours, church brethren, professional colleagues and the Esa Oke contingent.
It was a day of witnessing and listening, with amusement and rapt attention to one’s probable epitaph as Baale Solomon Olaniran Olamiju and his delectable Olori, Olajumoke, sat and listened to warm remarks about his earthly good deeds.
Indeed, the expansive Estaport Hall, Soluyi, Gbagada, was the most ideal venue for such a mammoth crowd of family members, admirers, colleagues, co-traditional rulers, an undiluted presence of the Esa Oke contingent and hordes of the well-wishers.
